thrilled me beyond my expectation..
Awesome..!!!

I just finally realize that I have jumped a couple of books of this series (I don't know why), but it didn't appeared as an obstacle, I still could enjoy the book, because it could read as a stand alone book.

So, what I think about this book?
It is amazing... kind of a closing book, yet not so.. I guess there will be other books come along after this..

One thing knew is.. some hint about Atlanthean.. (my thought just : WHAT!!! I am so thrill... just imagine some stories about Breed and Atlanthean offsprings )

Back to this book (alright)
The story of Sterling Chase (finally), the lonely Breed who thought his life is just a burden to other in the Order, even for himself. after surrender himself to cover his brethren, he saw dead end of his life, right in front of his eyes, with just one obstacle, Dragos.

in the middle of his chaotic life, Chase met the proper lady named Tavia Fairchild. there is something intrigued him since he met Tavia, but that shadowed by his almost destructive self to Bloodlust.

When the world, in this case, Breed world, running into some war within them, caused by Dragos. Thinking that his most trusted friends in the Order will be better without him, Chase try to find his way into Dragos's circle, to end all these chaos.

This mission of his become so much complicated when Chase have to deal with Tavia, and then there area some sparks between them as an addition. Beside those he have to deal with, there is more than human about Tavia, she is somethign beyond human after all, the first known female Breed existed in his long life on earth. Trying to save her, Chase trying to get her into the Order protection, but somehow, Chase ended up accompany her into the Order.

As the time gone by (read it : in short time) the become something more than they thought they'll be, as the blood talked more than words, they are indeed mate in all sense.

They tried so hard to conquer their own demon, to be someone better for each other.
So there is some peace on earth where they all could be exist among humans, after the chaos ended by Dragos' death.

But the question is, What next.. ??? My gut tell me there is some more about their stories... I just have to wait then.

Angel's Pawn - Janvier and Ashwini's story
Love the playful talk between these two, really hope that they will appear in next instalments, just craving for their playful story more.

Angel's Judgment - Sara and Deacon's Story
Got some glances about the Guild Hunter director as a hunter with her mysterious husband with a really unexpected past, but it is too short, hehehe.

Angel's Wolf - Noel and Nimra's story
I just got a better description and visualization about Noel, which afar from my imagination before. I could saw something primal about him in some way, when I just remembered his unlucky moment in former book. Really happy that he finally find someone and somewhere he can belong as himself.

Angel's Dance - Jessamy and Galen's Story
Seeing Jessamy and Galen in this story brought me some smile. the quiet and cool Galen, the heart warming and so tender Jessamy, become so passionate when they embrace each other. The deep connection between them is strong yet beautiful, brought them to see more inside of themselves, made them whole as one.

That's quite stories to read, and I am craving more story of this series.

Yup!! Finally got this one read.. Just feeling awesome...!!! (too much, I know)


Paris and Sienna's story..
Keep wondering 'bout this book since last year..
And I am pleased with this book..

Maybe there is a something that made me winced, but over all it is great..

Paris finally got himself half of his soul in Sienna, the one and only Hunter that intrigue him.
Felt some guilt over the time since the dead of Sienna Blackstone, Paris been drown into his favourite drink, ambrosia, and into the dark of his demon.

At the other side, Sienna trying to be settle in her new self, as an of the Lords, keeper of Wrath.
Since become the undead spirit live inside a 'horror' mansion by Cronus, Sienna cannot stop thinking about Paris, about the guilt she felt for betrayed him, and other feeling rooted inside her core that deeper than she ever think.

Become acquainted once again by Paris effort to find her, they start the new fragile some relationship between them. The sparks that live between them before Sienna's death still burning up, even hotter than before.

Eventhough Paris try to assure himself to let her go after the rescue, he cannot stop think to keep her by his side, for all eternity, for once, his demon got himself agree on this (after a long and so much incoherent dialogue).

At the end, Sienna become someone who really is the key of the war between all sides that exist, her choice become the ultimate weapon for one of the sides.

Not to spoil the fun of the reading, the end is something I didn't expected from the beginning.

I'm not give 5 star to this one because I kinda feel something missing all the way the story, which I cannot pinpoint what, it just there.
But that feeling cannot aside my awesomeness to this book.

The end of this book made me really crave for the next one, and the angels stories that follow this series.

This book tell us the story of our deadly ancient vampire, Dmitri..


Since I was accustomed by the story of Raphael and Elena, I never expected this one will be more amazing, but I am wrong, Nalini Singh still could amazed me with her brilliant imagination.
It is a captivating story from the start, I could not get away from this book till the end.

I am heart struck with this one, the old, almost ancient vampire alive, Dimitri, second in command of New York, Leader of the Seven, finally had a heart melting moment of his own, by a Hunter.
Living such a long life, made him the feared one, among his race, but not for this one extraordinary, scarred Hunter, Honor.

As a Hunter, trained to handle such a life threatening situation, cannot prepare her a traumatic event in her life, that bring a major scar in her body and soul. After hidden for a while, she got an order to do some job at the Tower, which she had to work together with Dimitri, someone she having 'crush' with, in such a long time.

Their bond started with a rough road, based on their own nightmares that keep locked inside of them. They gradually saw something inside each others soul, which brought them to an understanding that need each other to be complete.

Love this story.. and this series.. craving for more..

Angel's Consort (Guild Hunter Series #3 by Nalini Singh

Here the adventure life of Elena and Raphael continue..

The new Made Angel, Elena, formed a more solid and somehow deeper relationship with Raphael, the Archangel of New York. The called each other as consort, a tittle that mean more than spouse or lover. the journey begun, when the ancient one being Awaken, the one and only mother of Raphael, Archangel Caliane.
Tore between seeing her again after a millennia or eliminate her for reason of madness, Raphael unconsciously 'seek' for his ground in Elena.
Having a tough, hard headed warrior hunter as a consort, bring him become more human with a heart, ever. That bring him something that other Archangels don't have in their immortal life.

After all, Raphael 'listened' to his consort to give some chance for his mother to prove herself sane after her time of Sleep.

It was amazed me how the same main characters become the centre of story for three books in a row, and I still crave for more of them.

Btw, I love their unique relationship and how to express their love to each other, sometimes it was sweet, something in a rougher manner, that doesn't lessen the quality, which they understood clearly and deeply in their hearts.

I just hope I could read some more of their stories.

Angel's Kiss (Guild Hunter Series #2) by Nalini Singh

This second book of Guild Hunter series, still telling the story of Raphael, the Archangel of New York, and Elena, the Hunter who become an Angel of her lover's kiss of ambrosia.


This couple bring more fascination to me when their relationship goes to upper level than before, or we can call it go much deeper in love (in their own way).

As Elena awake from a year deep sleep and recovery, she just found out that she become the one and only Angel Made in history recalled. As a result from a deep love that bloomed inside the Archangel, Raphael, the ambrosia bring Elena to a new and more secluded world than she ever imagine.

The obstacles keep coming in their ways, when the ancient Archangel, Lijuan, become something terrifying even for the other Archangels for the whole existence on earth.

Fighting herself with a new part of her, the wing, and such a new place an people around her, she got meddled with long lost nightmare of the past that keep budging her inner thoughts.
Keeping herself upright among other immortals with her new status as Raphael only desire, Elena getting stronger in her new found immortality.

in the other part, Raphael become more attached to Elena, when he realize that she is his core now, which he cannot lose for anything. His weakness is his strength.

A new adventure, a new chapter to tell, a new life begin.

Had so much fun reading this book, eager for the third one.. (still their story).

Angel's Blood (Guild Hunter series book 1) by Nalini Singh

Just started my reading routine again, after (kinda) settle in at my new job.

So, I just lay my choice at this series, because it was my intention before my routine cut out by the new job in hand.

It staring with a hard ass vampire hunter or we can call them Guild Hunter, who indeed a stunning woman with a born-hunter instinct whom contracted by this 'mighty' Archangel of New York to do some hunting fot the Cadre (some kind of Archangel High Council).

the unusual relationship starting to rise and form between them, when mortality of Elena, as a Guild Hunter fascinated Raphael, the immortal Archangel.

In the middle of hunting the lost or I could call him, a devolve Archangel, Uram, who already cause a mass of human victims and disturbed the balance of life, Elena and Raphael became somewhat partner, more than contractor and the contracted. she become the weakness that never been happen in Raphael's already long life.
The steel heart Archangel melted little by little by the thick headed Warrior beauty.

So much Angels, vampires, and also human involve in this story, live in an extraordinary world that Nalini Singh created. The whole story just very interesting in a way I cannot describe, even thought it is not that steamy, compare to the other series by Nalini Singh, but I got the story so much grabbed me, that I cannot leave in even just a moment.

In this new modern world, she made herself called Lucy Aster, a Pub owner in a remote village.
Brandon Stevenson, a famous Hockey player, who is in his prime career.

As Lucy is a regular audience of the Hockey games, with Brand Stevenson as main focus, she involuntary builds her attraction to him to a much higer level than she ever think.
At one time,Brand also put some attention to a beautiful lady who always sit at the same spot during his games.

Finally met, in a bizarre condition, they got together.
But Brand end up lost his memory during their time together, as Lucy erase those memories in her defences by being a Goddess and all.

But the passion yhat live within them cannot be erase, they just got being together again.

As the story goes, we got more in line with the mix world of the ancient and the present.
Altough not much I could get the picture of the ancient world of Lucy's time, but I could get into that world by being intoduced to several other Goddesses and creatures.
I am not prepare for so much hot scenes (I mean alot) along the story, it almost cover up half of the book (maybe more).
Thankfully it doesn't less the story as whole.

Maybe I just have to read the former book of this series, to get more in tune to the whole story, even the books could stand alone just fine.

And I like the bizarre humor from Brand, which could appear in those akward moments.
As for Lucy, I kinda like the vulnerable side of a woman even she is a Goddess herself.

The story is kinda simple, just a life of 2 different people met by fate which their past was connected somehow.

Chul Min (So Ji Sub) seems like an ordinary young man who is a hard worker, doing 2 jobs everyday, delivering waters at day and working at the parking lot at night. He is a very quite guy who had a very limited  social life. His life changed when one night, a blind woman come to his booth at the parking lot, which was a misunderstanding from her part, for the previous attendant. She is Jung Hwa, a bright and warm girl beside her inability to see from her accident in the past.
Almost every night she accompany him at the parking lot by watching drama with him.
Two lonely people met at an extraordinary circumstances, resulting a caring situation.

Finding a new love, a new hope to live a better life, Chul Min, start boxing again which part of his past life.
Unexpected, Chul Min finds out that he is the cause of her loss of eyesight, at her car accident, that also caused her her parents. That guilty feeling get stronger when he just told that Jung Hwa will loss her eyesight fully if she doesn't get a transplant immediately.

Getting Jung Hwa an eye transplant, Chul Min gets himself into a gambling fight to get a bigger amount of money. Considering his chance to win or his condition after the fight, he decide to leave Jung Hwa to get a better life without him.

At first I guess it will be a boring movie, but at the end it made me touched and the end was nice.

I just finished this Korean Series - This one made me shred tears while watching it, really touching-
(I am just 'abandoned' my books for a while =D)

It starting out about the life of Shin Ji Hyun (Nam Gyu Ri) the very loved and cherished girl in her perfect little life, with a great loving parents, adorable fiancé, bunch of best friends. Her life is so perfect in other way, she is a very happy person in her prime. she is a very god person, lots of humour, innocence, just full of life.

In a sudden, she got herself in car accident, which not her time to go, and come in state of brain dead and in coma. She got herself a second chance to live in 49 days of time by collecting 3 drops of tears from people who really love her with a pure heart.

This is where the journey begin.
She have to borrow the body whom responsible for her accident, Song Yi Kyung (Lee Yo Won) within 49 days without reveal herself to anyone she know about, even her beloved parents.

Her high school friend, Han Kang, is the one she really seek for comfort, although she did that unconsciously. the real thing is, Han Kang keep his feeling for Ji Hyun for so many years, it hurt.

As the story goes, finally Ji Hyun really see the life she'd been living all this time in a different perspective, in others eyes. At that time, so much things happen which subconsciously change her into a mature person.

Most people in her life not as pure heart as she thought they were.
In her precious time, Ji Hyun finds out her fiancé is her best friend's lover all these times, she just fooled because of revenge that really just one sided.

There is a strange relationship appear between Ji Hyun and the Scheduler (former life as Song Yi Soo - Jung Il Woo) and between Ji Hyun and Song Yi Kyung as her host.

So much story or we could call problems and events occur during that 49 days around Shin Ji Hyun spirit's Life, rally complicated her precious time, while she have to search all of people she thought will be the source of the pure tears she needed.

I really enjoy watching this series (almost all Korean series are).
The theme of this series is uncommon, strange in a good way, its a long time for me for watching something in a sad continuum almost all the episodes, I prefer watch something that makes me laugh.
Really got the feeling (My tears are falling down by its own in couple of scenes).
And Oh, one more thing.. the OST, that really just made me really in a swing mood.. sooooo touchy..*sigh*

Although this series is already airing last year, I just got the time to watch it now, and I don't regret it a bit, it was a blessed..
